Dr. Johnson Asiamah has a robust background in banking and finance, making him an exceptional candidate for the Bank of Ghana Governor position.

In this capacity, he co-ordinated the work of the Monetary Policy Committee and supported the Governors directly.

DR ASIAMAH AND NDC
In the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections, Dr. Asiamah sponsored the printing of over 100, 000 T-shirts; notable among the banded shirts were *JM YIDZI* T-shirts.
In addition to that, he sponsored the rehabilitation and connection of water between Denu and Akatsi.
During the same year, he financed the drilling of over 30 boreholes, 12 and 6 aside KVIPs, constructed bridges and provided over 30 pickups for elections day operations in the Volta Region.
Dr. Asiamah supported over 40 Members of Parliament (MPs) across the country and all the 40 MPs won their respective seats.
His involvement with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is notable, particularly in his role as a member of the party’s manifesto committee.
In 2020, the NDC inaugurated a 21-member election manifesto committee, which included Dr. Asiamah, alongside other prominent figures like Goosie Tanoh and Dr. Ekow Spio-Garbrah.
