The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Agona East Constituency in the Central Region, Hon. Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr (Mrs), has held a victory thanksgiving service to thank God for her victory and that of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2024 general election.
The service was held over the weekend in Agona East.
Hon. Pokuah Sawyerr (Mrs) appreciated the hard work of the party officers from the national to the branch levels for supporting her campaign during the elections.
“To our leadership who made it from national, regional, the constituency and the branch executives, I appreciate your presence and support,” she said.
Besides, she expressed her heartfelt thanks to the people of Agona East for endorsing her and the NDC during the elections.
She continued, “My constituency executives and I are most grateful to the people of Agona East for the overwhelming votes you gave us and also attending my victory thanksgiving service massively.”
“To my chiefs, elders and reverend ministers, pastors as well as my colleague MPs who joined me to give thanks to the Most High, I say God richly bless you,” she said.
“Finally to the people of Agonaman and my great friends, I say a very big THANK YOU for your constant support. God richly bless us all,” she added.
